About the Role
Join Monash Health as a Mental Health Training Program Pharmacist on an ongoing, full‑time basis, commencing March 2026, and be part of a structured, two‑year development pathway designed to build specialist expertise in mental health pharmacy. You'll rotate across inpatient, community, and rehabilitation settings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
This is a unique opportunity to deepen your clinical knowledge, contribute to research, and collaborate with experienced educators and clinicians to shape the future of mental health pharmacy services.
You'll be supported by a dedicated Mental Health Pharmacist Clinical Educator and the Pharmacy Education Services Team, with opportunities to publish research and progress to Grade 2 upon completion of the program.
What Your Day Might Look Like
- Deliver pharmacy services across mental health inpatient units, community teams, and rehabilitation settings
- Participate in structured learning activities and complete a research project
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise medication management
- Rotate across Monash Health sites and contribute to service innovation
- Support education and mentoring of interns and students
- Engage in quality improvement and contribute to multidisciplinary committees

About You
You're an early‑career pharmacist with a strong interest in mental health and a passion for making a difference. You're collaborative, curious, and ready to take the next step in your career.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
- Working with Children Check
- Up to 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills
- A commitment to education, research, and professional development
- Postgraduate qualifications and clinical supervision training are desirable
