Job Description
Lecturer in Nursing will contribute to the teaching effort on the Broome campus, maintaining and developing scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.
The position entails conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions and studio sessions. Initiating and developing subject material, preparing and delivering lectures and seminars, conducting research, developing course material with senior staff advice and support, marking, consulting and assessing students, attending departmental meetings and committees.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A level B Academic Staff Member with qualifications and/or experience recognised by the institution as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.
* Experience in tertiary education or equivalent industry experience in the relevant discipline area.
* Demonstrated ability to develop teaching resources and deliver courses in a variety of formats including online learning management.
* Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
