Experienced Veterinary Nurse/Veterinary Technician – Full-Time

Located in Port Augusta, we understand the challenges of regional work and offer flexible arrangements. We are looking for someone that can commit to full time hours (38 hours per week average in a 4 week rotation) and that can commit to a minimum of one weekend per month.

A dedicated Team Leader each day to help you and the team.
A dedicated nursing role—minimal reception and kennel duties thanks to our support staff - We have wonderful receptionists and kennel assistants. Although, some reception and kennel work is expected, this is kept to a minimal.
A collaborative team of vets and nurses who care as much as you do - I am bias but we do have a great team. Furthermore, you will have a nurse mentor and a vet director as direct points of contact to ensure your career progress and job satisfaction

Your Role:
Utilise your consulting skills, hospitalised patient management, anaesthesia, dentistry, imaging, and clinical pathology
Requires a minimum of one year in a similar role and a completion of studies in either Bachelors of Veterinary Technology, Certificate IV in veterinary nursing or a similar qualification.
We require an experienced nurse/technician that is confident in monitoring anaesthetics, managing hospitalised patients, has a sound knowledge of pharmacology, can administer medications as prescribed by the veterinarians, and is quick to learn our computer software.
