About the Role
Max Stocks is an seeking enthusiastic and experienced Store Person to join our Rockhampton warehouse team on a full-time basis. This role is all about getting our customer orders ready safely, accurately and with care. You'll work as part of a well-oiled team, picking and packing across our freezer, chiller and dry areas, helping make sure our customers get the products they order, every time.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick/pack orders accurately and efficiently
* Assist in the safe loading of goods into vehicles for delivery
* Stock replenishment
* Correctly present paperwork in line with procedures
* Practice safe and correct manual handling
* General warehouse duties in a dry and cold store environment
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
* Forklift licence - essential
* MR or HR Drivers Licence - highly desirable
* Comfortable working in cold environments (down to -25°C)
* Previous experience and understanding of warehouse and transport operations, preferably in the food service industry
* Good organisational, communication and time-management skills
* Highly motivated, flexible, with a solid work ethic and positive can-do attitude
* Be able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
* Great attention to detail and ability to learn a broad range of products
* Understanding of WHS and HACCP requirements
* Physically fit and able to undertake the duties of the role, including lifting/manual handling
