Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
The position of Technical Support Specialist is available to experienced IT professionals looking to utilize their skills in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves providing technical support for IT project rollouts, managing regional system backups, server patching and end-user device maintenance. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining and updating systems, monitoring systems and keeping accurate records of infrastructure assets.
Beyond these core responsibilities, the Technical Support Specialist will assist in continuous IT systems improvement and provide staff training. They will travel to various sites across the region to deliver onsite support.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with at least 5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration. Relevant skills include proficiency in MS Windows Server, Office 365/Microsoft 365/Azure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, VMware, Veeam, and AWS. Experience with network switches, patch panels, access points, and printer troubleshooting is also desirable.
A strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for end users is essential for this position. Experience in manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
