The Role
You will be essential in helping us achieve our goals by elevating the experience for potential foster carers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide recruitment and retention services for prospective caregivers
* Caregiver reward and recognition
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in Social Work / Psychology or a similar discipline
* Demonstrated experience in recruiting, assessing and training foster carers
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of principles and challenges in supporting vulnerable children and families
* Knowledge and experience of the child protection and out-of-home care system
* Understanding of cultural contexts and unique needs of Aboriginal children and young people
* Knowledge of issues impacting the community services sector
* Experience delivering training and development programs
* Ability to provide clear, concise and accurate information to prospective carers and personnel
* Excellent time management, organisational skills and interpersonal abilities
