Doutta Galla Aged Services is a leading not‐for‐profit provider of residential and in‐home aged care services. The Clinical Quality and Governance Partner plays a critical role in supporting safe and effective care across Doutta Galla. Reporting into the Chief Governance Officer, this is an important role within the organisation.
Working across Residential Aged Care Homes and Home Care services, you will lead quality and compliance activities, support registration and audit readiness, and partner closely with clinical and operational teams to achieve strong clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
As the Clinical Quality and Compliance Partner, you will:
* Conduct clinical audits, internal gap analyses and risk assessments
* Lead incident management processes including root cause analysis, depth case reviews and investigations
* Manage complex complaints, including matters involving families and regulatory bodies
* Maintain and review policies, procedures and clinical documentation within centralised systems
* Provide education and coaching to staff on quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies
* Monitor legislative, regulatory and standards updates, ensuring organisational awareness and response
* Support aged care registration renewal and external audit processes
* Assist local teams during audit, monitoring and assessment visits
* Develop and monitor corrective action plans in response to observations or nonconformances
About You
You are a proactive and collaborative clinician who brings:
Essential Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
* Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in health care quality or governance
Key Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in a similar quality, governance or compliance role within the aged care sector
* Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and NQSHSS
* Proven experience in clinical audits, risk management, incident investigations and complaints management
* Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
* Experience managing compliance systems, policies and clinical data systems
