This is a role for someone who is experienced and has proven ability, and desire to work independently. We are a small team of 5 people and while you will have frequent opportunity to collaborate with the team we need someone who enjoys taking ownership of getting their work done.

Your experience:

* You have spent time in client facing roles, whether that be dealing with clients in person on-site, or extensively via phone & email. Through this experience you have developed strong communication skills
* Familiar with electromechanical device design, installation and maintenance - our primary solutions involve solenoids and stepper motors, however we have all kinds of bespoke installations
* Comfortable with circuit design
* Comfortable with retrospectively figuring out how a solution works - often we are faced with an installation that is 50-60 years old with no documentation
* Experienced with CAD and ideally 3D printing

* Working at heights - this role will involve climbing clock towers internally (narrow stairs and tall ladders), and working externally in cherry pickers. While we follow every safety precaution if you have a fear of heights this role is not for you
* Hands on experience - we often manufacture bespoke solutions and have a full metal working machine shop
