John N Dunn Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join its growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to kick-start a career in IT, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will assist in maintaining IT systems, supporting end-users across multiple sites, and resolving technical issues. They will work closely with experienced IT professionals while studying towards a recognised IT qualification.
This apprenticeship provides a strong foundation in hardware, software, networking, cloud technologies, and IT support practices—ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn.
In this role, you'll work towards yourLevel 3 IT Support Apprenticeship,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
o Assist with system upgrades, backups, password resets, and antivirus setup.
o Support IT projects with a focus on security and maintenance.
o Provide first-line support via phone, email, messaging, and remote tools.
o Log and escalate IT issues, helping meet SLA targets.
o Install and configure hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals).
o Set up and support software including Microsoft 365 and bespoke apps.
o Perform updates and system upgrades using Microsoft Intune.
o Help resolve basic network issues (Wi-Fi, connectivity, device setup).
o Use Microsoft 365 cloud tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
o Learn basic scripting (PowerShell, Batch) for simple automation tasks.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
o Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
o Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role

o Friendly and helpful communication style.
