Our Mount Isa practice is looking for a motivated and caring Optometrist to join the team. Mount Isa is known for its outdoor lifestyle and sunsets.

OPSM is a leading eye care and eyewear retailer with a long history of looking after the eyes of Australians and New Zealanders for over 95 years. The store is equipped with the latest Clarifye technology with Optos NG, OCT, retinal camera, Topography, Auto refractor/K, pachymetry, Biometry, Cataract Retro-Illumination, I-Care, NCT and VF. We offer access to clinical and business opportunities, collaboration with experienced optical professionals and a role in building loyal relationships with the community to grow the practice.
We support continuing professional development through financially supported industry training, peer learning communities and product training. Responsibilities
- Join and contribute to the Mount Isa OPSM team as an Optometrist, delivering high-quality eye care and patient service.
- Build loyal and trusting relationships with the local community to grow the practice.
- Participate in continuing professional development through industry training, peer learning and product training.
- Utilise available technologies (Clarifye, Optos NG, OCT, retinal camera, Topography, Auto refractor/K, pachymetry, Biometry, Cataract Retro-Illumination, I-Care, NCT and VF) as part of clinical assessments.
- Engage in community outreach initiatives, including OneSight programs.
Qualifications and Benefits
