Overview
Toll is offering an exciting opportunity for experienced MC Bulk Lubricant/Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our high-performing team in the Pilbara, operating out of Karratha. This is an 8/6 FIFO dayshift only role on our bulk Lubricants team servicing the Pilbara mine sites. You'll be responsible for the safe delivery of bulk Lubricants throughout the region, operating double road trains in a safety-first environment. If you have experience transporting Fuel/Bulk Lubricants or dangerous goods, a strong safety mindset, and a clean driving record—we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery of bulk Lubricants to remote locations within the Pilbara
* Travelling within Regional Western Australia servicing key mining and industrial clients, including in and around the Pilbara region, based out of the Karratha Branch
* Furthering the safety culture within the business
* Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailers before departure, ensuring that connections and all safety equipment are in place and functioning
* Complete and maintain accurate records of deliveries, including dates, quantities, any incidents and maintenance reporting
* Maintain high performance in all aspects of the role with a customer service focus
* Operate a pump truck
* Product sampling
* Overnight stays when required – in-cab sleeper provided (typically every second night)
Skills & Experience
* Current MC licence Unrestricted
* Current Dangerous Goods Licence (desirable)
* WA Fatigue Management Certificate
* Safe Load Pass (not essential)
* Able to obtain a Current Commercial Vehicle Drivers Medical
* National Police Clearance: Capability to secure a clean police background check
* Understanding of Road Transport Legislation: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
* Rio Tinto or Fortescue Inductions advantageous
* Proven experience with multi-train configurations
* Responsible Driving History: A strong record of safe and responsible driving
* Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge
* Travel Covered: Flights (ex Perth only), Camp Accommodation and all meals provided
* FIFO Roster: 8/6 dayshift only roster, 12-15 hour shifts
