Our client, a leading electrical services company operating in the utility infrastructure sector, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a 12-month contract in the Northern Suburbs. This role offers a company vehicle and the opportunity to work on major power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage construction activities on overhead transmission line and HV infrastructure projects.
2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
3. Coordinate site operations, managing subcontractors and site personnel.
4. Monitor project progress, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications.
5. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
6. Oversee risk assessments and method statements, ensuring safe work practices.
About You:
1. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within HV transmission line construction within Australia.
2. Strong knowledge of utility infrastructure and electrical services.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
4. A proactive and safety-conscious approach to site management.
5. Relevant industry qualifications and certifications (e.g., HV authorisations, safety tickets).
