**The Opportunity**:
Our client is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team and assist the Facilities Manager in the new development opening in Adelaide. The Facilities Coordinator will aid in the management of maintenance across a variety of asset classes, from retail stores to education hubs for children.
This would be the perfect entry-level role for anyone with a trade background who is wanting to move into the Facilities Management Industry.
**The Role**:
- Report to the Facilities Manager
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S
- Schedule maintenance and repairs of assets
- Obtain quotes for goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Managing Contractors
- Daily centre inspections
- Maintenance report writing
- Risk Management
- Developing & implementing sustainability initiatives
- Ad hoc duties where required
- Ideally has a trade background OR has a trade qualification/relevant university degree.
- Ideally has maintenance experience in retail/commercial settings
- Has a good understanding of general maintenance tasks/the operation of machinery.
- Is extremely motivated and eager to learn the ins and outs of facilities management.
- Is well presented - neat and tidy, and can perform work in a professional manner.
