About the role
This is an exciting time to join our growing practice in Canberra and to be part of a national team with opportunities to assist colleagues and Partners in other offices across different jurisdictions.

We are seeking a motivated disputes lawyer to work with a dedicated team of lawyers on a variety of matters, including complex disputes work for the Commonwealth Government. You will thrive in a team environment whilst also taking clear instructions and working on tasks independently.

About you
You will be an engaged and driven lawyer with a genuine desire to continually improve and deliver outstanding results for your clients. You will have excellent communication and drafting skills, enjoy a busy work environment, and thrive in a collaborative work culture. You will be a skilled lawyer with excellent technical ability and a desire to help those around you and contribute to the overall morale and success of the team.

In addition, you will have:

* 2 to 4 years PAE, with experience in a commercial setting, ideally from a well-regarded litigation practice.
* Background in general disputes. Prior experience in investigations and/or government disputes work will be highly regarded.
* Proven ability to remain organized and manage workflows under pressure.
* Experience in engaging with a broad range of individuals, with the ability to communicate effectively and develop trusted working relationships.
* Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills.
