About The Role
Permanent full-time role
To support the ongoing improvement of health services by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Engage actively with the multi-disciplinary team, including data collection and reporting, and facilitate referrals to other community services as appropriate.
Engage effectively with people and communities from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
* Hold Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice).
* Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
* Potential applicants are advised that Queensland Health requires a 'working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks, will be conducted.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
* A probation period may apply.
