They offer a modern office with collaborative spaces.The RoleThe Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor is responsible for creating, implementing, and improving EHS procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Working closely with the operations team, the role supports all sites in the ANZ region, as well as other regional operations.Key responsibilities include:Advise management and safety committees on EHS mattersProvide expertise in compliance, ergonomics, electrical and machine safety, confined spaces, and lock-out/tag-outInvestigate incidents/injuries and present findings to relevant stakeholdersEnsure environmental compliance (e.g. air, stormwater, hazardous materials, spill prevention)Conduct audits, inspections, and training to maintain complianceManage injury reporting and return-to-work programsOversee safety systems (fire, egress, security, parking) and emergency responseApprove new chemicals, equipment, and processesTrack safety metrics and support capital project reviewsShare best practices, tools, and programs across teamsEnsure EHS policies are integrated into new projects and operationsMonitor regulations, develop compliance strategies, and training programsEngage in professional groups for benchmarking and developmentThe PersonYou will come with a degree in an EHS related discipline and WHS qualifications (Cert IV or above desirable).
Excellent communication skills will see you partner with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Experience from an industrial manufacturing environment is paramount along with experience overseeing or implementing a Formal Safety Management System, Hazard Prevention & Controls System and ISO ***** & ***** management.Company CultureThe company values excellence and commitment to their product and people.
