Pharmacy Services Manager Position
This role requires an experienced professional to oversee pharmacy operations, lead clinical teams and supervise staff. A strong background in managing dispensary management, clinical services, team supervision, education and quality safety is essential.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Dispensary Management: Manage supply, PBS compliance and system processes to ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy.
o Clinical Services: Provide medication advice and reviews across various wards including renal, oncology, paediatrics and emergency departments.
o Team Supervision: Lead, mentor and manage clinical pharmacists and technicians to optimize team performance.
o Education: Provide training to pharmacy staff and education to nursing/medical staff on best practices and new developments.
o Quality Safety: Drive audits, reporting and service improvements to maintain high standards of quality and patient safety.
o Strategic Input: Represent the pharmacy in meetings, forums and hospital-wide initiatives to promote collaboration and coordination.
The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology, haematology, paediatrics, renal, vaccines and outpatient specialist clinics. They must be capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and be flexible in managing competing demands, shifting priorities and shared responsibilities.
