About the Role
We're looking for a driven and experienced Business Support Services Manager to join our growing team in Perth. Reporting directly to the General Manager and leading a small team, you will play a key role in ensuring the business efficiently mobilises qualified personnel to meet client requirements across projects. Working closely with Operations, Branch Management and Clients, you will ensure that personnel, equipment, compliance documentation and logistics are effectively managed to support safe, efficient and compliant service delivery across multiple operational locations. The effectiveness of this role directly contributes to operational performance, client satisfaction and the safe delivery of inspection services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Business Support Services function supporting operational delivery across branches.
* Support Operations Leads and Branch Managers with workforce planning and technician allocation, coordinating workforce mobilisation across projects, shutdowns and client sites.
* Oversee the client services function supporting operational delivery.
* Manage client onboarding and maintain client records within internal systems.
* Oversee management and tracking of personnel certifications.
* Maintain compliance records ensuring technicians meet client and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee mobilisation processes including travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, site inductions, drug and alcohol testing, medical bookings.
* Review and develop business support procedures and operational workflows.
* Implement systems and processes that enhance operational visibility and workforce compliance.
* Prepare reports and analysis to support operational planning and decision‐making.
* Provide training and guidance on mobilisation procedures and operational support processes.
* Ensure high standards of service delivery to both internal stakeholders and clients.
* Foster a collaborative and high‐performing support team.
About You
You're an experienced business services manager with excellent communication and organisational skills. You have proven experience in leading a business support team within industrial or technical services.
You will have
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an operational support, mobilisation, or workforce coordination role.
* Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field (desirable).
* Experience supporting a technical services, inspection, mining, energy or industrial services business highly desirable.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating workforce mobilisation across multiple sites.
* Strong understanding of workforce compliance requirements within industrial environments.
* Experience managing client compliance systems or vendor portals.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced operational environment.
* Strong organisational and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Experience leading and developing administrative or support teams.
* Full Australian working rights required.
* Valid Driver's Licence.
