Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our Brisbane office. The successful candidate will work across employment, IR and safety matters for clients in construction, maritime, medical, NFP, mining and global markets.
This is a hands-on role within a busy Employment & IR practice where you will handle unfair dismissal & general protections matters (run your own conciliations), enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes and union issues, contracts, policies, workplace investigations and culture reviews, whistleblowing, compliance and advisory work, some workplace health & safety matters (light component).
About the Role
* You will act for clients spanning construction, maritime, medical, NFP, mining services, engineering and professional services — plus several major US and Italian-based clients.
* Genuine ownership, meaningful client contact and exposure to strategic work early in their careers.
* Clear progression pathway to Senior Associate and beyond.
