Bakery Chef
We are looking for a skilled artisanal bread maker and pastry expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods in accordance with recipes and food safety guidelines.
* Conduct pre-production checks to ensure equipment and work areas are clean and compliant with occupational health and safety standards.
* Prepare, mix, knead, ferment, cut, mould, and shape doughs and pastries to achieve desired textures and consistency.
* Create a variety of pastry fillings and components in line with product specifications.
* Monitor oven temperatures and baking times, adjusting as necessary to ensure even baking and optimal product quality.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a baker or pastry cook.
* Sound knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
