WE'RE SEEKING EXPERIENCED DELIVERY DRIVERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM.
About the Role
We're a leading importer and distributor of furniture and homewares, based in Rocklea, QLD. We're expanding our fleet and seeking experienced delivery drivers to join our team. As a delivery driver with us, you'll be responsible for safely transporting our specialised freight within Queensland and between states.
You'll be working closely with our logistics team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries to our customer base. This role requires strong organisational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
1. Safely transport our specialised freight within Queensland and between states.
2. Deliver to our customer base in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Unload and set up furniture and appliances, including heavy lifting.
4. Follow routed and time schedules.
5. Operate forklift equipment (preferred).
6. Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating delivery vehicles.
Eligibility & Skills
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A valid Australian Driver's License.
* A good driving record.
* Sound knowledge of the Brisbane Metro and surrounding suburbs, other states, including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
* A Heavy Rigid Truck Driving License (preferred).
* A Forklift license (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of furniture installation.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
* The ability to prioritise jobs and work independently and as part of a team.
