Hybrid Primary Care Sales Representative – Overview
We are seeking a Hybrid Primary Care Sales Representative to collaborate with Primary Health Care Practitioners and Specialists (Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Nephrologists) based in Darwin, Northern Territory.
What you'll do
* Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations and Medicines Australia (MA) qualification.
* Demonstrate interpersonal effectiveness, results focus, collaboration, teamwork, and leadership.
* Engage primary care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on‐label prescribing for appropriate patients.
* Work with the Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in the territory.
* Use data from multiple sources to build a view of customers – their needs and interests – supporting smart decisions to exceed sales targets.
* Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
* Develop and maintain in‐depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
* Follow all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, and work within the framework of Medicines Australia (MA) Code of Conduct.
Essential qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or other suitable qualification)
* Prior selling experience and/or medical background
* Interpersonal effectiveness, partnership, and leadership
* The ability to plan and drive the business on the territory
* Demonstrates a structured selling process to understand the needs of the customer, listening, feedback, personalising messaging, and closing with actions
Desirable qualifications
* Experience working in a digital environment and how to use data and touchpoints to your sales advantage
* Knowledge of disease, brand, and healthcare environment
