The Communications and Corporate Affairs Group is responsible for building and leveraging media and strategic stakeholder relationships to improve awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes. It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers ASIC's consumer education and Moneysmart.

This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, including Moneysmart, corporate reporting, events and communications, and CCA's strategy.

From 2025, ASIC's Moneysmart program will start delivering a new ongoing program to ensure Australians have easy access to independent, reliable information on superannuation and retirement through new consumer education campaigns, content and tools.

The Role

* Developing and delivering advertising campaigns ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
">
* Developing and supporting communication strategies that align with research insights.
">
* Briefing agencies (creative, research, media buying) and driving outcomes.
">
* Overseeing the development of media plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with consumer education campaign objectives.
">
* Management of paid media campaigns, including benchmarking, tracking and evaluation.
">
* Preparing key campaign documentation, including briefs, submissions, and progress reports.
">
* Supervising the execution, monitoring and measurement of marketing campaigns and their success.
">

About You
">
To be successful in this role, you will require:

* A Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or related fields.
">
* Strong problem-solving skills.
">
* Exceptional communication and project management skills.
">
* Ability to manage several marketing campaigns simultaneously.
">
* A good understanding of current marketing trends.
">
* A thorough understanding of the Australian Government advertising process is preferred (but not essential).
">
* Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing large scale advertising campaigns.
">
* Experience in briefing and managing research, creative, public relations and media buying agencies.
">
* Experience in Government communications.
