We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Head Barista to join our team. You'll be the face of our café, serving high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies
* Operate coffee machines and grinders with precision and care
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and café areas
* Greet customers, take orders, and handle payments accurately using POS systems
* Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations when needed
* Train baristas to ensure consistency in coffee quality and service standards
* Order and manage coffee bean inventory as required
* Order milk and maintain appropriate stock levels for daily operations
* Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as necessary
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards consistently
* Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled
* Support the overall café team during busy periods with general tasks (e.g., clearing tables, food preparation)
Skills & Experience:
* Previous barista experience required (minimum 3 years experience)
* Passion for coffee and customer service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
