Job Description:
This is a key position in our organisation, requiring an individual with strong accounting skills to oversee the end-to-end function.
Responsibilities include managing bank movements, journals, supplier invoices, rebill credits, customer credit checks, cash flow reporting, and bank reconciliations.
The successful candidate will also prepare monthly and yearly packs for the accountant, oversee statements, supplier reconciliations, credit insurance reporting, fuel and toll accounts, loans, GL upkeep, and capital entries.
Costar runs jobs and stock. Payroll is calculated in Excel and processed in MYOB. New starters, weekly payroll, super, PAYG, payroll tax, and reconciliation into Costar are managed with accuracy.
The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a hands-on environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable guiding a function while the business prepares for its next phase of modernisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Solid experience in SME bookkeeping or accounting
* Strong payroll capability (Excel + MYOB)
* Comfort working onsite in a practical, hands-on environment
