The Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council (SA) Aboriginal Corporation (ADAC) offers a range of alcohol and drug harm minimisation and treatment programs to Aboriginal and vulnerable people in our regions of service. Our programs provide support to clients who live or come from South Australia and are experiencing problems caused by alcohol and drug use.
The Care Worker role provides immediate safety and care for intoxicated clients in Port Augusta. This includes assessment of intoxication, monitoring vital signs, and providing basic physical needs to the clients.
These roles are based at the Sobering Up Unit in Port Augusta.
