Leadership Role in EHS
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive EHS risk assessments and implementing effective measures to control and mitigate risks on our Ballarat site. They will also oversee induction programs for new starters and develop procedures tailored to our EHS Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to ensure compliance with local regulations.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with site teams to enhance the EHS culture and prepare training plans.
Requirements:
* Degree in Workplace, Health and Safety or similar qualification.
* Deep understanding of local legal requirements, particularly in rail safety.
* Strong leadership skills, initiative, drive, and resilience, with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
