Spring Team is a cleaning and gardening organisation aiming to service participants with a disability within the NDIS and private clients. We have cleaners, gardeners and handy‑people in the South East Queensland region. We strive to provide good quality and friendly services.
Role Description
This listing is for Casual gardening/yard maintenance work in the Gold Coast area.
Your role will involve but is not limited to mowing, line trimming, hedge trimming, weeding, pressure cleaning and other yard maintenance tasks as well as maintaining equipment, including the need to mix 2‑stroke fuels.
If you have your own equipment or a Horticulture certificate (or equivalent) we're happy to discuss supervisor rates, please advise.
The role includes travel pay and requires driving between client locations; a driver's licence is a MUST.
You will be required to work solo and also in teams.
Pay & Allowances
* Position: Gardening and Landscaping Services Award Level 2 (or 3)
* Rate: $32.31 per hour (or $33.75 for level 3 applicants). Super is on top of this.
* Allowance: Fuel allowance as per award
* Travel Time: Paid at hourly rate between jobs
* Equipment fuel and miscellaneous expenses: Paid by company
Requirements
* Tow bar on vehicle (or ute) (CAR CAN BE PROVIDED FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE)
* Experience in gardening (weeding, checking oil, mixing 2‑stroke oil, checking filters, using safety equipment)
* Experience with 2‑stroke multi‑tool operation (i.e. hedge trimmer, edger, chainsaw, blower etc)
* Vehicle suited to towing and safely storing gardening equipment
* Appropriate safe footwear for gardening
* Licence, registration papers, 3rd party property insurance
* Mobile phone with data and understanding of basic app use
* Working visa information (if applicable)
* TFN (Tax File Number)
* English level to communicate with clients
* Smile/friendly attitude
