Freelance / Contract Social Media Manager (Organic + Occasional Paid Support)
We are looking for a freelance / contract Social Media Manager to support our team with organic social media management and occasional paid social support across a range of clients and industries. This role is remote, flexible, and ideal for someone who lives and breathes social, understands what performs organically, and enjoys contributing ideas, not just executing tasks.
You will work closely with the ANTI team to bring social‐first thinking to life, support ongoing content delivery, and help our clients grow meaningful, on‐brand social presences.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for end‐to‐end organic social support, including:
* Caption writing and content copy generation
* Social post research, including competitor and platform research
* Hashtag research and optimisation
* Managing and maintaining social media calendars
* Maintaining a strong pulse on trends, formats, and platform updates
* Contributing social‐first ideas and creative concepts to the ANTI team
* Briefing designers on social content when required
* Post scheduling once content is approved
* Analytics, insights, and reporting, with clear recommendations
* Supporting occasional paid social activity in collaboration with the wider team
About You
* Proven experience managing organic social media for brands or clients
* Strong written expression and confidence writing engaging, on‐brand captions
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly with scheduling, formatting, and approvals
* A strategic thinker who understands why content works, not just how to post it
* Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple calendars and deadlines
* Proactive, collaborative, and confident contributing ideas and insights
* Comfortable working remotely and independently
* Experience working with agencies or multiple clients is preferred but not essential
* Familiarity with analytics, reporting tools, and performance tracking
* Paid social experience is a bonus but not essential
