Overview
Metro South Health is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join Addiction and Mental Health Services across Princess Alexandra and Logan Hospitals. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available, providing compassionate, evidence-based, recovery-focused care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Your New Role
As an Enrolled Nurse (Mental Health), you will practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, consolidating your knowledge and skills to deliver safe, person-centred care. You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care, supporting patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing evidence-based nursing care under RN supervision
* Delivering compassionate, person-centred support across mental health services
* Assisting with admission, treatment, and discharge processes
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical record systems
* Supporting patients, families, and carers with education and advocacy
* Contributing to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You / Qualifications
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (mandatory)
* Medication endorsement (required for this role)
* Ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care in collaboration with RNs
* Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work across shifts and adapt to unit needs
* Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
* A current C Class driver's licence and ability to travel as required
