Network Operations Engineer - Infrastructure Architect
We're seeking an experienced and proactive Network Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the technology group, you'll play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex networks to ensure reliability and performance.
* You'll architect, implement, and support enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
* You'll configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
* You'll monitor and optimize network performance to meet uptime and reliability targets.
* You'll troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues to minimize downtime.
* You'll enforce network security and support audit/compliance activities.
* You'll lead infrastructure projects and collaborate with cross-functional technology teams.
* You'll maintain network documentation, performance reports, and standard operating procedures.
* You'll provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 7+ years' experience in network engineering or operations.
* Strong knowledge of protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and services like DNS, DHCP.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista or similar enterprise network hardware.
* Solid understanding of network security principles and compliance frameworks.
* Experience with monitoring and performance tools.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
