About the Opportunity
We have exciting opportunities for experienced and Qualified Sous Chef, Head Chefs, Exec Chefs to join our Catering teams at out Villages located in the Bowen Basin, Gunnedah Basin, and Pilbara Regions.
This role is responsible for assisting or managing all kitchen operations including the production and presentation of all meal services, ensuring HSQE and ISO Quality Assurance Certifications are maintained, employee development and management, menu development, rostering, auditing, budgeting, and reporting.
Full-Time, Permanent positions available consisting of on-going rotating rosters (5-2 or 14-7 options – may vary per village).

About You
To be successful, you will have:
15. A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent) and be able to provide a copy of your certification and competencies obtained in qualification.
16. Demonstrated relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial hospitality industry
17. Experience in high volume, fast paced kitchens
18. Competence in batch cooking across all service offerings
19. Experience maintaining ISO Quality Assurance Certification
20. Advanced budgetary analytical skills
21. Capability to work well under pressure
22. Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
23. Willingness to assist in staff training
24. Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role
25. The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
26. A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
27. Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
28. Exceptional communication skills
29. Excellent time management skills
30. Remote work experience (highly regarded)
31. Current Driver’s Licence (highly regarded)
