Location: RockhamptonAurizon is currently seeking a Locomotive Driver position in the Central Queensland team in Rockhampton. IML project work when required and QCL on occasion.Operation of locomotives including mainline, shunting, and marshallingExamine and certify trains as ready for departureWork in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and proceduresMaintain a high level of on-time runningPrepare and conduct brake testing on locomotivesProvide high quality customer service to enable Aurizon to meet its set business objectives
About you:Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster.Experience in QLD Safeworking System and CQCN Route knowledge is advantageous but not essential.Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience.A Certificate IV in Rail to work autonomously and adapt to part of a larger team across different business areas.Current unrestricted Class C drivers’ licence.
