We are hiring an Inventory Specialist to oversee all the activities in the organization related to stock controlling, ordering, receiving, storing and distributing finished products, raw materials, equipment, supplies, and transferring them between different warehouses.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage purchasing orders for incoming raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
2. Verify receipts and confirm purchase contents and orders are complete.
3. Monitor and maintain current inventory stock levels.
4. Receive finished products/raw materials/marketing materials, count them physically, and record them to ensure accuracy of information.
5. Prepare, count, and record the quantities of products that need to be shipped to each branch, as well as the raw materials to be shipped from the warehouse.
6. Inspect the quality of the received products, looking for damaged or incorrect items, and report any damage.
7. Classify and store items in the warehouse daily as per the company’s procedure to ensure timely ordering and release of products.
8. Participate in the inventory control of products at each branch and update the end-of-day inventory status to ensure the accuracy and availability of the products.
9. Assist Sales Associates in replenishing stocks on the shelves to ensure availability of products at all times.
10. Report any suspected theft or loss issues.
