Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage site investigations remediation programs and environmental risk assessments.
* Supervise and mentor junior consultants developing technical and project management skills.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders delivering high-quality environmental solutions building strong lasting relationships.
* Oversee field programs subcontractor management and site-based works ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently.
* Develop project proposals and budgets contributing to the growth and success of our Newcastle operations.
* Collaborate with our global team of experts gaining exposure to innovative methodologies best practices.
Requirements
* A relevant tertiary qualification in geology hydrogeology environmental science environmental engineering or soil science.
* A strong track record in contaminated site investigations and remediation with experience in a consulting environment.
* Technical expertise in preliminary and detailed site investigations risk assessments and remediation strategies.
* A commitment to health safety and environmental best practices particularly in high-risk field settings.
* Excellent project management skills including proposal writing budgeting and client engagement.
* Strong report writing abilities with engagement in the Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme or relevant professional industry bodies being highly regarded.
* The ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
* A valid Australian driver's license and full Australian work rights.
