School Sport Victoria, Finance Officer
The purpose of this role is to work with the other School Sport Victoria Finance Officer (1.0FTE) to complete the financial functions of the business unit including accounts receivable (approximately 3,500 transactions per year), accounts payable (approximately 4,000 transactions per year), school membership, assist with other finance tasks, and provide administrative and customer service support as required.

The role will also contribute to maintaining financial data, processing financial transactions, and assisting with financial budgeting and reporting as required. This role requires ICT knowledge including Oracle Cloud, More4Apps, database management, Schools Targeted Funding Governance functions, and Excel.

School Sport Victoria
School Sport Victoria (SSV), delivers an extensive school sport program to primary and secondary students across Victoria, including interschool and interstate pathways. In supporting its role, SSV has an extensive communication program as well as works collaboratively with partners across community, state and elite sporting organisations to support the delivery of our school sport opportunities.

Statewide Programs and Tech Schools Division
Within SEPS, the Statewide Programs and Tech Schools Division (SPaTS) have a central role in ensuring schools can access the programs and supports they need so that all students, including cohorts who may need additional supports, can excel at school. We achieve this by designing and delivering programs, developing operational policy and advice, and providing resources and guidance to schools.

Specifically, we deliver programs and resources to:

* help all students thrive at schools, for example the Glasses for Kids program and guidance and resources to support the transition from primary to secondary school
* help teachers deliver the curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom, in ways that support student learning and wellbeing ¿ through Tech Schools and STEM centres, School Sport Victoria, swimming programs, State Schools Spectacular, the Strategic Partnerships Program and English as an Additional Language resources
* support priority cohorts of students, including CALD and refugee students, and rural and regional students.

School Education Programs and Support Group
The School Education Programs and Support Group (SEPS) leads policy development and program design to ensure that all students, regardless of their background, are engaged and active learners. SEPS has a diverse range of responsibilities including:

* leading the Departments efforts to improve student wellbeing, health and engagement
* leading the improvement of educational and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people with disability and additional needs, and building the professional capability of school and regional workforces in inclusive education practice
* leading Koorie education, engagement and workforce matters, including corporate inclusion
* ensuring that all learners have the skills to be interconnected, active and informed global citizens in a modern world
* shaping initiatives that better engage disadvantaged or at-risk students and leading programs with this focus on vulnerable cohorts, including Koorie, students with disability, EAL and refugee students, and rural and regional students.

Salary range: $79,589 -$96,780
Note that Salary shown includes 30 days of additional attendance required, as compared to standard Education Support roles under the Victorian Government Schools Agreement 2022. This means the successful candidate will be entitled to four weeks of annual leave, to be taken during periods as agreed with their manager.
