Psychologist Contractors, Students with Disability Assessment Service
We are seeking experienced Psychologists to join our team in conducting cognitive assessments for students with suspected disabilities attending government schools across Victoria. These assessments will support schools' applications for additional supports for these students through the Department of Education and Training's Program for Students with Disabilities and Disability Inclusion.
As a Psychologist Contractor, you will have the opportunity to work independently while being supported by our comprehensive training program and ongoing clinical support. You will possess a strong background in assessing children, adolescents, and their families, with experience working within school settings preferred but not essential.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Psychologist with General Registration status with AHPRA, holding a minimum of 12 months' experience conducting standardized assessments. They will also have strong report-writing skills, with the ability to write reports for a target audience, as well as demonstrated ability to work independently with strong administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
