About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Design Specialist to join our Engineering team.
In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in developing 3D models and manufacturing drawings that support our Design Engineers and production team. Your work will help ensure our products are built with precision, quality, and innovation.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and develop accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings to support the Design Engineering team.
* Work closely with engineers, production teams, and external stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
* Create general assembly drawings with clear instructions, notes, and references to guide production.
* Ensure all designs meet dimensional standards and apply appropriate tolerances.
* Manage documentation and data entry in SAP, including material creation, revisions, and updates.
* Liaise with marketing, customers, suppliers, and consultants to align on design expectations and timelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced Designer with a background in producing 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation.
Candidates should be skilled in Inventor CAD or similar 3D modelling software, with a solid understanding of 2D drafting using AutoCAD.
Familiarity with injection moulding is a plus.
A Certificate IV or equivalent in Engineering Drafting is required.
Experience using SAP for material management, document control, and BOMs is also essential.
