About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team in Townsville, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, maintainability, and efficiency across Northern Australian Operations
* Maintain safety, legislative, and environmental standards by working closely with Maintenance Planners and other stakeholders
* Support the use of maintenance work quality systems and documentation
* Conduct technical investigations, inspections, and analyses to determine rotating equipment risk and criticality
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with expertise on Rotating Equipment
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Experience in maintenance and/or engineering of petro-chemical manufacturing plants, power generation, or similar heavy industry environments
* Understanding of Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy development
* Strong skills in failure analysis techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
* Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - preferably SAP
