About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our night duty team. As a key member of our aged care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead the night duty nursing team, coordinating patient care and ensuring seamless transitions
* Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning

Requirements:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care, with a focus on dementia care
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
* Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and a willingness to adapt to changing situations
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual respect
