We're looking for a seasoned Traffic Manager to oversee traffic management works on large-scale infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Traffic Management Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans that meet regulatory requirements and minimize disruptions to the surrounding road network.
* Job Planning and Programming: Conduct thorough job planning and programming to ensure seamless execution of works with minimal impact on traffic flow.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with traffic management, including local council, resident, and road user concerns.
* Signage and Pavement Markings: Coordinate the delivery of temporary and permanent signage and pavement marking packages to maintain optimal traffic flow.
* Cost Control: Monitor and forecast costs to ensure adherence to project budgets.
About You
* Engineering Degree: Possess an engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
* Project Experience: Have experience working on tier 1 projects exceeding $100M.
* Traffic Management Qualifications: Hold work zone traffic management qualifications or be able to obtain them.
* Career Progression: Be eager to learn and upskill within the project duration, seeking career progression opportunities.
* Traffic Management Crews: Have experience booking and managing traffic management crews.
* TMR Roadworks Permits: Be familiar with submitting TMR roadworks permits.
* Traffic Guidance Schemes: Understand and interpret traffic guidance schemes.
* Construction Methodologies: Possess a high-level understanding of construction methodologies and logistics within temporary traffic management spaces.
