Senior Network Engineer – Drive Transformation for a Leading Financial Services Client

What You'll Do:
* Provide Level 2/3 technical support, troubleshooting, and fault rectification for complex network infrastructure issues.
* Manage the configuration and operation of diverse network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN.
* Proactively monitor, tune, and perform trend analysis of network systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Act as a network technical lead in the delivery of various high-impact projects.
* Champion knowledge sharing within the Technical Infrastructure team through documentation, training, and mentoring.
* Participate in the Network Services on-call roster.
* Adhere to Change Management, Escalation, Incident, and Problem Management procedures.
* Actively manage stakeholder requirements, ensuring risks are mitigated and changes are clearly communicated.
* Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, addressing root causes to prevent recurrence.
* Manage vendor relationships and evaluate next-generation products.
* Contribute to Disaster Recovery testing & documentation, and Business Continuity Planning.
What You'll Bring:
* 5+ years of hands-on network operations & support experience in a large, complex corporate environment.
* Strong expertise with the following:
o Cisco Nexus & ACI (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, VLAN, QoS)
o Palo Alto Firewalls & Palo IONs
o Meraki SD-WAN, Wireless, Switching
o Cloud Networking (AWS Direct Connect, Megaport)
o Load Balancers & Delivery Controllers (F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler)
* Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools (e.g., Solarwinds / Netflow / cloud-based).
* Solid understanding of network security standards, best practices, and administration.
* Exceptional time management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* A strong delivery outcomes and customer service focus.
* Industry Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Meraki Solutions Specialist are essential.
* Preferred qualifications include:
o PCNSA/PCNSE certifications.
o Knowledge of VMware networking, Windows DNS/DHCP.
o Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
o Understanding of Infrastructure Architecture principles and practices.
