About the Role
Are you a food technologist with hands‑on experience in spray drying, emulsions, homogenization, dairy processing, lipid formulation, or encapsulation? Our client is seeking a Senior Food Technologist to join their innovation team and help shape the future of functional food technologies on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to apply your specialised knowledge in a role that blends R&D, product development, and commercial innovation. You'll be at the forefront of developing new applications and expanding the scope of existing micro‑encapsulated products, working across lab, pilot, and full‑scale production environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead product development projects from concept to commercialisation.
* Formulate and modify products for specific customer applications.
* Conduct lab and pilot trials, including hands‑on operation and cleaning of equipment.
* Perform technical due diligence, IP searches, and market analysis.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external research partners.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across global markets.
* Provide technical support to sales teams and international distributors.
Skills / Experience
* Degree in Food Science/Technology.
* 5+ years' experience in food product development, ideally with exposure to spray drying, emulsion stability, homogenisation techniques, dairy or lipid‑based formulation, encapsulation technologies.
* Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
* High level of initiative, motivation, and adaptability.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
