To be Successful:
Certificate III or IV qualification in a relevant field such as Individual Support or Disability
Fully Vaccinated (3 x Covid shots, Flu Vaccination, Proof of immunity towards Whooping cough, measles, HepB and chicken pox)
Full Working rights and access to a car with a full Australian driver's license
Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check
6 months plus paid experience in providing care and support to individuals with a range of needs

Who are we looking for:
We have a high demand for enthusiastic and compassionate part time support workers to join our team in Sydney and surrounding suburbs. You will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to individuals with a range of needs, including but not limited to, disabilities, mental health conditions, and elderly care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, ensuring their wellbeing and safety
Assist individuals with their medication and attend medical appointments with them as required
Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations
Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, including family members, social workers, and healthcare professionals
Attend regular team meetings and participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Other Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
NDIS Screening Check - not essential but highly desirable
Australian driving license and access to a vehicle is highly desirable
Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and willingness to follow company policies and procedures
