Salary: base $90,177–$137,861, plus leave loading, superannuation, up to $156,253 total remuneration.
The school has 1006 students, 51% with a non‐English language background and 3% Indigenous.
Responsibilities
Provide high‐quality library services to support curriculum and student learning.
Plan and deliver whole‐school library events and programmes aligned with teaching.
Manage library resources: evaluate, select, acquire, catalogue and maintain diverse collections (print, digital, online databases).
Use the library management system (Oliver), including budgets, technology and resource organisation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full approval to teach K‐6 and/or primary library, or currently undertaking or enrolled in teacher librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
* Unconditional full approval to teach.
* Ability to learn and effectively use Oliver library management system.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Experience in selecting and managing diverse resources, including Aboriginal Culture and Histories and High Potential and Gifted Education.
Other Conditions
Applicants must provide WWCC clearance number.
Position is permanent part‐time, 3 days per week, 0.6 FTE.
