Position Summary
The Pre-Sales Engineer – Digital ICT Sales is a key technical advisor and solution strategist supporting the sales team in delivering Microsoft-centric digital transformation solutions. This role focuses on designing and articulating solutions built on Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and .NET-based applications, to meet customer business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development Managers and Account Executives to understand client requirements and craft tailored Microsoft-based ICT solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to assess customer environments and identify opportunities for Microsoft cloud and .NET application modernization.
- Design solution architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and custom .NET applications.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical input and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams and Microsoft partners to validate solution feasibility and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Stay current with Microsoft’s evolving product roadmap, licensing models, and partner ecosystem.
- Support the transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring a smooth handover and continuity of solution vision.
- Help uplift the Microsoft Partnership status to help us achieve solution designations and getting Seers Products into the Microsoft marketplace
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and .NET application development.
- Experience with solution design for cloud migration, application modernization, and digital workplace transformation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft licensing, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with enterprise or government clients is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, PL-200, or MS-700 are highly regarded.
