Newcastle Locksmiths & Security is a well‐established and respected security provider servicing the Newcastle and Hunter region for over 40 years. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Locksmith to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands‐on role working across residential, commercial, and some electronic security applications. You'll be supported by an experienced team, quality systems, and modern tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, servicing, and repair of mechanical locks and hardware
* Master key systems
* Restricted key systems
* Residential and commercial locksmith work
* Fault finding and repairs
* On‐site customer service and problem solving
* Accurate job reporting and documentation
* Participation in an on‐call roster
About You
* Qualified Locksmith (or nearing completion of apprenticeship)
* Current driver's licence
* NSW Security Licence
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Professional presentation and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with access control and alarms is an advantage (but not essential)
