Our client located in the northern suburbs are currently operating a new production facility for the storage and blending of fumigant products as a Major Hazard Facility in Edinburgh South Australia. With the introduction of this new facility, we are seeking to add an experienced and skilled Maintenance and Yard hand support to join their team. The ideal candidate will be supporting the current maintenance and yard hand personnel in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and processes in the plant as well as equipment used by the field operation teams. Working with the Operations team you will play a critical role in ensuring safe systems of work whilst working with a continuous improvement mindset to support the production team to enhance processes and efficiencies.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications – Essential
* Basic knowledge in metal working tools and equipment
* Competent welder and metal fabrication skills
* Basic knowledge in mechanical maintenance including piping and pump repairs.
* Experience in pneumatic systems and equipment.
* Basic Electrical knowledge
* High level of problem solving and initiative skills
* A strong consistent safety-first mindset
* Team player and collaborative
* Drivers Licence and reliable transport
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications – Desirable
* Forklift Licence
* Basic understanding of instrumentation and PLC controls
* Exposure to P&ID's
* Basic understanding of hydraulics
