Due to continued growth, PlanPac is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our team across a diverse portfolio of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and redevelopments.
Based in our Townsville office, this role offers exposure to multiple sectors, regional and international project delivery, and the opportunity to further develop your capability as a well-rounded Project Manager.
About the Role
Located in our Townsville office, you will be responsible for:
* Delivering various construction projects across the region and throughout the Pacifc from inception through to completion
* This role is office based but managing offshore projects may involve travel to PlanPac's PNG and Fiji locations, as required
* Preparing reports, briefs, and project documentation
* Preparing project scoping, tendering, and procurement activities
* Leading consultant and contractor engagement
* Overseeing contract administration and construction delivery
* Providing regular updates to stakeholders and building strong client relationships
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong organisational skills, a collaborative mindset, and proven experience in delivering construction projects. You will be confident working with multiple stakeholders and adaptable to working across different regions and environments.
You will also have:
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Management or a related construction, engineering role
* Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline (desirable but not essential)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
* A solid understanding of contract administration and management
* High attention to detail and a client-focused approach
* A willingness to travel and work collaboratively to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients
* Australian work authorisation is required for this role
