There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and energetic National Account Manager with a flair for styling to join our Events division. This role is based in our Melbourne office, reporting to the National Head of Events.

The Role
This role works on national events, in the corporate and sporting space. You will succeed through your background and experience in sales, client management, and your understanding of the events industry. You'll be responsible for nurturing and building relationships with new and existing clients, alongside providing advice on event furniture choice, style and coordinating installations that meet your clients' brief.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in a sales role within the events or hospitality industry is essential
* Demonstrated innovative thinking and creative problem solving
* A hunger to succeed through forging and maintaining strong relationships with key new and existing contacts
* Ability to problem solve and deliver the best solution to our clients
* An eye for styling and is able to give advice and direction on site
* Offer design advice to clients on-site including selection and/or sourcing items as required
* Design styling that is aspirational, consistent and upholds Valiant standards
* Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional solutions
* Energetic, confident dynamo with the ability to manage a varied portfolio of clients and competing priorities across three states
* Driven to deliver the best possible customer experience through collaboration
* Outstanding planning and communication skills
* Ability to conceptualise event spaces based on a clients brief and produce a style guide that aligns with this vision
* Responsible for onsite installations, including client visits in a timely and professional manner
A typical day for you would include:
* Proactively build existing accounts and seek new opportunities with potential clients
* Respond to incoming event queries with curiosity and a focus on the future
* Be client-facing and on-site to foster and build on existing relationships
* Initiate contact and generate sales with key potential clients within the Event industry
* Manage the job from start to finish and working closely with our logistics team to successfully deliver the client's event
* Provide advice and collaborate with our clients on style direction for their event to produce aspirational results
